The Arkansas trademark search is an online search tool available on the Secretary of State’s website that allows users to search the Arkansas SOS database for trademarks and service marks. A trademark is a symbol, word, name, or device used to differentiate a person or company’s goods.[1] A service mark does the same for services.[2]
Among other restrictions, a trademark cannot resemble another Arkansas-registered mark or trade name, cannot be comprised of immoral or deceptive matter, and cannot consist solely of someone’s last name.[3]
