The Kentucky trademarks and service marks search is a free tool offered by the Secretary of State for looking up trademarks and service marks. Search options include name/word, description, registrant name, goods and services, and registration number.
A mark can be registered if it distinguishes goods or services from others and meets the state’s statutory requirements.[1] The application process takes approximately 5-10 business days.[2] Once approved, the registration remains valid for a 5-year term and may be renewed for a small fee.[3]
