The Indiana professional license search is a state-provided web service that allows users to look up professional licenses and licensees. This can be used to look up a service provider, to search for a list of licensed professionals in a location, or to verify someone’s license. Licensed fields include accounting, real estate, health care, engineering, architecture, and countless other services and professions.
Professional License Lookup
1. Go to the Web Lookup/Verification Portal
2. Enter License Information
Select and enter the license details for the search.
3. Enter Licensee Information
Enter the licensee’s name and location. Put an asterisk (*) next to any uncertain information.
4. Click Search
Click the Search button to view matching results.
5. View Search Results
The search results will open in a new window showing the following licensee information:
- Name
- License #
- Profession
- License Type
- Status
- Address
Click on a license holder’s name to view their detailed information.
6. View License Information
The license information page will show licensee’s name, address, and the following license information:
- License Number, Profession, & Type
- Secondary Type (if applicable)
- Status
- Issue, Expiration, & Renewal Dates
- Approval Method
If the license holder has any related licenses, they will also be listed on this page.
